Facebook giveaway for email list build

I would like to know, is there any follow along or case study of email list building using facebook giveaway, and does FB allow such things. What i have in mind is to do giveaway for online store (skin care, face lift etc products). Than use that optined emails to promote these products.

Also i would like to know is it possible with promoting fb ads, to pass target audience data to opt-in so for example, if in url of campaign is age=55-60, than to send that data to email submit and to collect it with email (and probably including some more data)

thanks

p.s. i appologize if there is some thread about this but i couldnt find it

Regarding the age (and your other target definitions) - add them to your link as variables and capture them on your site, e.g. &age=55-60&status=married etc.

Afaik FB allows you to run a giveaway on your store, sure - and if you have that giveaway as a "you must opt-in to receive your voucher/gift" I personally can't see anything wrong with that, as long as you don't fool the user/don't actually give out the giveaway.

E-Mail tip - make the user confirm his subscription (DOI) before you hand out the giveaway, could be easily done by sending the DOI and then automatically send an autoresponder containing the giveaway after the DOI is confirmed.

Ok yes about age i thought so, basically i plan to put all posible information in url from campaign so i can store that data with email.

Regarding giveaway, well i plan to do real giveaway maybe like 1 product per week and run it for an year, and really send product to selected user via courrier service.
i guess something like https://www.random.org/lists/ can be used to get random winner.

Yes, giveaways are generally ok. I would be quite protective with the name of the page, don't make it "Free Brand-Name Giveaway" as you can get the page down by the brand. Make the page generic, so it's more trusted.
