A Game Changer for Mobile Landers?
If you have been an affiliate for more than 5 hours you know how much of a pain in the ass it is to build and tweak landers on the fly.
At TechCrunch Disrupt a new company called PageCloud demoed something that blows other page builders out of the water.
What do you think of it?
Check out the first few minutes of their demo:

This is mind-blowing! And yearly subscription only costs $99.
The only concern I have is whether the code will be "clunky" - especially for mobile, where page-load speed is of paramount importance.

Interesting. If this works as advertised it's going to be huge. It's a very smart thing to focus on, too.
However, I'll wait for reviews to find out exactly how much it matches the hype. I've heard a lot of startups make similar claims over the last 20 years.

PageCloud will begin at $25/month and up
per site.
So even with the discount which makes it $99 per year it's still for just one site.
That said, are we able to host the pages on our own servers?
That's especially interesting for the adult industry because most cloud products don't allow nudity...
I've send them an e-mail already and update here as soon as I know all the answers such as "is there an unlimited subscription".

Probably tweaking a bit those pages would be the extra mile getting ppl closer to their success and ahead of lazy competitors.
If for example some javascript could be removed or replaced, a person who would do it would be ahead of someone using untweaked design.
BTW, there is great series I follow on youtube called devtips by Travis Neilson if I remember - In one of episodes he used some techniques to 'emulate' javascript function using css3 and html5. That multiplies the speed of the site quite significantly. You can't do everything what javascript does of course, but still very interesting. I can't remember exact episode, but may find it if someone is interested.

4.6 We may, but have no obligation to, remove content and Accounts containing content that we determine, at our sole discretion, are unlawful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property rights or these Terms of Service.
4.10 If your bandwidth usage significantly exceeds the average bandwidth usage (as determined solely by PageCloud) of other PageCloud customers, we reserve the right to immediately disable your account or throttle your file hosting until you can reduce your bandwidth consumption.
7.3 You may use the PageCloud pages static hosting service only as permitted and intended by PageCloud to host your organization pages, personal pages, or project pages. You may not use PageCloud pages static hosting service for any other purpose.
Looks like another worthless service to me. They always are and I don't even know why I read their terms anyway.

Looks nice, but what about - AI - websites that design themselves?

Just another WYSIWYG editor really...
I'm really hesitant to get excited at all about these. The fact is, you can't just take a page and move boxes around and do whatever you want, visually, and have it work perfectly. The hierarchical and cascading nature of CSS as well as the way positioning works just makes it a bit nonsensical - you'd have to code everything from the beginning to almost expect these kinds of edits if you don't want to run into issues.
That and what h0mp pointed out. Clearly something aimed at small businesses who just want something that 'works' without them having to know anything about design/coding, and who want to make live updates visually to feel like they are in control.
We don't really do this in affiliate marketing. We want full control over hosting of our pages and when we want to make large changes, we don't live edit the page - we create a copy, edit it, and then split test against the original.
But, these kinds of editors do have a clear place in the market.
