Internet Explorer 11 shows way lower conversion rate than Firefox or Chrome
Hey,
I've tested the landingpage on IE11 and it looks just fine, and it loads just as quickly as with FF or Chrome.
Can I conclude that this problem has to do with the users that are still using IE11 and probably not my best visitors for the offer I'm promoting?
Or could there be something else going on?

Are you sure they're not bots?

My assumption is that usually people who use IE are probably working. IE is usually for enterprise applications and office usage . If you compare to a person who use chrome for entertainment, surfing and access to new web APIs for enhance entertainment purposes tends to convert better.

I'd take a deeper dive into the data. My guess is you used an emulator to view IE11?
It could be that everyone using IE11 is on a particular resolution-size of phone, and that resolution size doesnt render correctly, or they have to tendency to all use a particular device type, or carrier, and thats the real reason for the poor performance.

I'm having IE11 on my own Desktop computer and all looks fine.
When digging deeper, I see that the CTR on my landingpages is about the same.
So I tested the offer page on IE11 and all looks just fine.
So it seems that IE11 users, as described above here (mostly office users) is the problem.

I agree with erffiliate because certain groups of people use different types of browsers. Best example is tech support marketers likes to target IE because they find the older generation tend to use IE which is less tech savvy. Therefore, that target market is easier to convert. However, keep in mind that it will bring in less volume because the majority of the population use either Chrome, Firefox or Safari...etc

Our data also shows lower conversions for IE11 - I tested via browser simulator and it actually looks better than Chrome (since exit pop no longer works properly on chrome).
