Clickbank Questions

I'm fairly new to Clickbank and found a product that fits my niche perfectly with a high gravity. This product has the visitor give their name and email to get a free audio. Then the vendor sells the visitor through email marketing. They claim to have given out $500,000 in affiliate commissions.

My question is about tracking. I've already sent a few visitors and I can see that they clicked through to the offer. However, I have no clue how to track if they gave their email since "Order Form Impressions" only counts impressions to the actual offer, not the free trial.

So I'm pretty much just stuck spending money and crossing my fingers sales show up in a few weeks without knowing how many visitors I sent are in their mailing list. Does anyone know how to track something like this on Clickbank? Any tips or ideas?

If you go to the affiliate page of that offer, sometimes they give you different hoplinks you can send traffic to.

For example:
http://www.takesurveysforcash.com/affiliates.html

You can send traffic to 6 different pages:
http://YourClickbankID.surveys6.hop.clickbank.net/?p=1
http://YourClickbankID.surveys6.hop.clickbank.net/?p=2
http://YourClickbankID.surveys6.hop.clickbank.net/?p=3

etc...

If the offer you're promoting doesn't have that option, you can ask the product owner to create one.

I don't know of any way to track clicks from the vendors emails.

Good stuff, I'll check out my vendor's page.

I'm just obviously concerned about lead/sale shaving if the visitor goes off the Clickbank grid and I need to trust the vendor, not to mention being blind towards tracking.

Yea ideally you can split up the traffic 50/50 with 2 different tracking links.

50% to opt in page.
50% direct to sales page.

See which one does better.

Or, 100% straight to sales page and if the offer is converting with your traffic source, do the split test above.
