Hey Peoples,
In my marketing career so far I have pretty much stuck to banner ads - Pops, Display or CPC, in app or mobile web. To be quite honest although it has been working for me (at times) I have NEVER tried text ads and I want to give it a shot.
1. Have people had success with this in the past?
2. Which mobile networks are good to text ads/push notifications etc?

Firstly, people who are making it work are very unlikely to tell you "YES IT WORKS" if they are killing it.
Secondly, in order to be really successful in this AM business, something that I learn is "Don't ask/hesitate, just TEST/DO it and find it out yourself". Instead of waiting for an answer from someone, spend some money to test this ad format. Doing so you'll at least have some data on day 1 which allows you to decide if it can be worked out or not.
Instead of waiting for few days to get an answer from someone. The opportunity cost here is your speed and timing.

Why do you want to give it a shot? I assume because it interests you or you think it can be good (probably both).
So I agree with kokofai, just try it. Even if it didnt work for other affiliates, it may work for you. And if it wont - You learn from it.
