Yes, I have the same problem. It works only for CPC, not for CPM or Smart CPM price models! I've contacted ExoClick support and they replied:

Quick update: You can't track the impressions. You have to use CPC - there's no option for Exoclick to put the actual imp pixel. Here's the official response from their support: "Thank you for contacting ExoClick Customer Services in regards to impressions tracking.

OK, tracking impressions is not so important.
