I'm running 5 ads on Decisive targeting specifically Brazil and getting 5,795 for the short time I ran it.
All ads are direct linking to the playstore app page, and have geo-targeting.
I stopped the ads when I see on my network cake system that i'm having clicks on a offer I didn't run, and after some checks, I found the offer was a re-target if clicks doesn't come from Brazil.
It's not a small issue as I'm having 1665 brazil click vs 2265 non-Brazil click. So I'm having both click loss (3930 on network tracking vs 5795 on decisive) and non targeted clicks.
Any idea on how to resolve this?
Check which placement is bringing these clicks. It could be Decisive's lander checker, which some people have had issues with, myself included, or a few placements bringing bad traffic. If neither is the case, not sure how you could solve it, since you pay for those clicks on Decisive.
I ran report on the ads, saw lots of clicks from a indonesian website. Blacklisted that site and a few others and things went back to normal.
When I generate detailed click report, everything looks fine, ip address are listed as brazil. It doesn't make sense to have so many brazilian click a indonesia website and morever the ads.
Really need to keep a constant lookout for bad sites and apps instead of just letting ads running to their budgets before reviewing ads. Not very productive. Would be great if anyone can shed more light
