Noob Question: why it's unnecessary to get server if doing mobile

Hi, my question as per subject title.

Is it because you just upload your banners via rackspace cdn to your traffic source (e.g Decisive)?

If I were to do landing pages in mobile, I would still need a vps server hosting right?

You'd usually upload your banners to the traffic source, assuming it's a DSP like Decisive.

If it's a simple html/css/javascript lander then you could just use a CDN. If your lander needs to use PHP, you will need a VPS/server.
