ASE and Leadscon reviews?

I just got back from NYC late last night. It was awesome to hang out at both events and get to meet alot of new faces including some from here
How did everyone like the shows? Which was better?

We exhibited at both and it was amazing.

Probably met 20-30 new affiliates.
50+ new lead buyers
30-40 new merchants

We had 6 people at ASE and 4 people at Leadscon.

Will definitely exhibit at both again next year.

We had a table at the Meet Market (ASE) and a Booth at Leadscon.

Both shows were awesome.. but this time I think Leadscon was particularly good. Normally I don't bother siting in on the speaker sessions but there were some pretty good topics and really interesting people speaking. I know a lot of people pass off the sessions but these can be an awesome opportunity to get access to industry leaders. Some of my best leads have come from speaking to the speakers after their sessions this year.

The Meet Market was the highlight for ASE. If I had only one day to attend Affiliate Summit - this is definitely where I would spend most of my time.

Funny enough we specifically chose not to do the meet market. I've done it a few years but felt like things were really rushed and by the end of the show, 2 days later, people had been so bombarded that they forgot who we were.

I've had a lot more success having a booth where I have 15-20 mins to talk with someone if I think there is some things we can do together. We don't hard sell pitch though. It's much more about listening to someones business and seeing how we can fit in to help it and that just takes time.

lol. both should come across the pond and do one in London or Amsterdam!!!
Yes there is a4uexpo and ad:tech - but they are not the same really.
Will have to come across to ASW

Both were great shows for us. ASE was a lot more casual while leadscon was more formal. Def recommend going to both...

ASE was a blast. So great to put faces to names.

We had a booth at the Meet market, and a meeting room during the conference for our meetings. The meetmarket was awesome, the meeting room was great for the people I had meetings with, but not so great for drop-bys. Loved walking the floor and saying hi to tons of affiliates.

I hope I got to see everyone that wanted to say hi to me!
