Need some starting Tips about Mobile Marketing

Hey.

I am going to start mobile marketing now. But before I do I am looking for the tips/suggestions.

1. Which kind of traffic source you suggest me to work with?
PopUp, PopUnders, Redirect or anything else

2. Which ad network in that traffic source?

3. Which vertical work best with above traffic information you have provided?

These questions are too general. There's money to be made in every vertical and traffic type.

Not every vertical will work well with any particular type of traffic source (or even any particular one traffic source), but if you do some spying you will have a good idea on what kinds of offers work on which traffic sources.

I would highly suggest that you do more reading on this forum - start with everything in the "Newbie Zone", then move onto the sticky threads in other subforums. Also sign up to several good affiliate networks and start chatting with your affiliate managers. Ask them which verticals are hot and relatively easy for newbies to get started with, and what kinds of traffic sources work well for those offers. That would give you a MUCH better answer than anyone could in a single reply post.

Another good thing to do: Read through some of the recent follow-along threads and "success stories" to see what people are finding success with, and how they're doing it. Then build on their experience by experimenting on your own.

Beyond the questions you have posted,you need to get to grips with tracking and server set up. You need to decide on a managed host or self-managed host. Wish you success!

Basically Amy (As always) covered it all.

Talking with your Affiliate manager will help you to get the best offers available in the network and some tips regarding the best promotion method according to his network stats.

regarding mobile ad network to buy traffic from, there are a lot each of them have their "strong" and "weak" sides on specific Verticals.
so once you understand what is working best with each offer you will be able to select the best mobile ad network to buy the traffic from.

knowing about tracking is important in order to get more professional and get a better understanding about your traffic, but this can be done through most of the affiliate network you will work with.

and don't forget the most important thing - Test Test Test!!!!!!!
