"AOL is in the process of buying mobile ad network Millennial Media, a person familiar with deal told TechCrunch. The deal is said to be worth between USD 300 and USD 350 million. Although AOL starting looking at Millennial weeks ago, the talks were delayed by its acquisition by Verizon. The AOL-Millennial deal is not expected to be announced for several weeks. TechCrunch spotted that Millennial put out a statement about equity grants as part of the retention packages of six unnamed employees, referring to "the acquisition transaction". Neither company would comment on the matter."
And now we're just waiting when will google / fb buy another ad networks (and start doing internal media buying).
