Does anybody here bypass the advertisers by collecting their own leads and selling them?
Is large volume a requirement? Has anyone tried using a lead marketplace? How does this work? Any information would be appreciated.
What do you mean here? Do you mean selling your own products, or selling leads direct to customers in niches like auto insurance where you'd usually be selling to brokers?
Selling directly to customers instead of brokers.
Intermediaries such as affiliate networks and marketplaces provide value by aggregating supply and demand.
An advertiser has no interest in dealing with the hassle of managing hundreds of high maintenance affiliates each pushing them 10 usd worth of leads a day.
If on the other hand, you are supplying $10,000 of leads a day, that is a different story.
