Hey Guys-
So over the weekend I noticed a "more-profitable-than-normal" domain id on DNTX direct nav. Soooo I created a new campaign targeting just that ID. I jacked up the bid to try to get all of the traffic and was doing around $150-$200 Profit on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Today...I was getting fairly excited even though I was confident something would go wrong...Then all of a sudden, traffic stops...No bid changes and I didn't run out of funds. I upped the bid to see if maybe someone was outbidding me, but still no traffic.
My thoughts are that 1 of 2 things happened:
1. The publisher blocked me for some reason? (My ads are completely compliant sweeps offers)
2. DNTX noticed a larger spend on 1 target and decided to run the traffic in house?
I'm kind of frustrated and was wondering if there is anything I can do or if anyone has any insight... I emailed DNTX support to try to get some clarity, but I really don't expect an honest - or timely - response from them.
Thanks y'all!
Dan
Most likely fraudulent traffic and they blocked the publisher.
Those can also be expired domains that are parked for a few days but then picked up / renewed again... Our support will respond timely by the way, so don't hesitate to drop us a message ;-)
