Looking for a Solid Article Template

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a solid standard article template. A simple one page html site with a side box for the "About the Author" section.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would do this myself, but I suck at CSS.

Just to be clear - I'm not looking for fake news sites, flogs, or anything that is currently running - just a simple template I could use.

If you're not opposed to wordpress you could probably choose from a hundred templates like that.

I'm actually searching for wordpress right now too - I just have no idea what I'm searching for.

I'm searching terms like "article html templates" and "wordpress article templates" without much success so far.

Maybe I could use a flog template for this purpose too - just take out the comments part or something

I'm pretty much looking for a template that looks like this:

A place where I can place the main article content, with some sort of separated box for an author bio.

Almost all WP templates have widget area(s) in the sidebar and comments can be disabled. Just look for "one column wordpress themes". In the widgets area, just add a "textbox" - that would contain your author bio. ...or am I misunderstanding something now about your question?
