Weird Voluum Stats??

Some weird stats popped up in my Voluum campaigns after I set up the links for my traffic source, affiliate network, and campaigns...

Anyone know what these are and why they're there?

What traffic source?

Some send 'checkers' with random parameters. Check countries you had the visits from too, check live event, maybe you catch them live.

I had that sort of thing with Decisive, when they sent like 10k/day/campaign... Not useful, to say the least.

Yeah It's Decisive.

I would target a specific country in the Decisive campaign, and Voluum would show stats coming from different countries other than the one specified in the campaign.

If these are "checkers," any way to filter the Voluum reports to remove the irrelevant data?

If you know their IP you can from what I know but generally pretty tough, since they are not same IP and you won't wanna block any legit ones...

What you should do is set a rule that if they are out of the target country, they go to a direct link somewhere else so they don't mess with your lander stats and your correct flow.

But some will come from the correct geo and those are freaking annoying. The good thing is they are only like 20ish per day but still not great. Maybe someone else has a better suggestion, I had too many issues with Decisive already, it's not worth all the time and effort with the many bugs they have.

These could be anything, as Manu said.

My advise is not the worry about the minor visits, they all add up to less than 20 a day and that's not enough data to worry about. If you are curious, your best bet is to write to Decisive support, because these are custom parameters and they know best what they mean.
