would do you guys prefer? When you make app downloads, either with our without landing page. With without landing page I mean sending the traffic directly to the Appstore Link.

Landing pages. Always.
From my experience, I'd say that direct linking works with game offers only, and sometimes you can direct link app offers successfully, but only if you're using a really good banner with enough urgency in order to get your visitor to take action.
Split test, obviously.
Generally landers help but sometimes DL works better so you should split test, especially if you didn't run a very very similar offer.
I'd have to agree with manusit. Generally landing pages do work better but the only way to find out is to test. Each offer is going to perform differently based on name recognition, app size, etc.
