Trying to Run White Hat But Still Getting Banned on GDN

Hi Guys,

I've trying to run on Google but its been a battle for the past month.

To sum up what Ive been through. I had an individual google account running a legit review site selling a few cj products but after after a month I couldn't get it profitable search CPC's were way too high plus cj was totally new to me... that was a FAIL but I didn't have any account issues at all I was spending and losing money without a problem.

Next I talked to someone who pointed me to A4D and Clickbooth for white hat GDN offers talked to my AM got a few solid offers. I got on my vpn and did some spying and from what I was seeing everyone must of been direct linking.

Then I think this is where things went wrong... I discovered adwords MCC accounts so I started think long term and said I'll be promoting other things so I opened up an adwords MCC account with the same cc as what was on my legit review site Adwords account (my mistake).

After a few days my legit review site adwords account got suspend for suspicious billing. I didn't touch this account in weeks.

My new MCC account was okay tho and I was able to run ads for a week. I setup a fresh cpvlab on a new domain and I ran for about a week direct linking to a white hat offer and started to finally get profitable then my account got banned.

Since then Ive been battling to try and get my account back. I've been contacting their support for the past month on the phone and via email and they have not been any help at all. Its been a month of calling them and I still cant get my account unsuspened. I made a new account and it was instantly suspended (I set this one to $500/daily maybe that was to high?? or it could of been auto suspended it because it was on the same ip)

I am now trying to make a 4th account after learning how to change my ip and I am running it on completely different computer and another fresh cpvlab install. I really wanna run white hat on google but god damn its been frustrating and kinda crappy that I have to result to this.

I will keep trying a few more times and post my results.

Lessons learned:
-I would recommend starting with an MCC account and be careful trying to have 1 individual adwords account + 1 MCC with the same cc that clearly set a red flag (*facepalm*)

I just have two questions really:
1) Is it okay to use the same Name + Billing address but new credit card # when making a new account ?
2) Is it okay to direct link on google to a white hat offer?

Hey Will,

While I can't be of much help in the sourcing new accounts dept., here's one suggestion I have if you do want to DL offers on the GDN or anywhere strict.

Make sure you have geo-redirects in place to ensure that any clicks coming in from outside the allowed countries will still go to the same offer page (I do this by setting up a 2nd offer in my tracker that bypasses the affiliate link and just goes to the same offer page directly).

The reason for this is many networks have their own redirects in places to try and monetize clicks coming in from outside the allowed places. This will definitely get you in trouble on Google where all the clicks regardless of location need to go to the same site.

I can't tell you how many times I've had campaigns rejected because the reviewer saw some adult dating offer while I was trying to run an app install. Some places are forgiving, Google is not. Just wanted to alert you.

Thanks integrity !! Yeah I started making that a habit now and yeah having geo redirects on Google and on Facebook is a must
