Go2Mobi spend and tracking (6)

Hi,

Looking to seek advice on Go2Mobi after launching 2 ads with them.




I've set both my ad to the minimum of $20 budget and placement bid of $0.5, which should be similar to using Decisive smart CPA of $15 budget and target $0.5

I noticed that compared to decisive, the win% is much higher, but the amount of bids available is much lower, and i burned through the budget relatively quickly vs decisive.

I know it's difficult to compare, but I'm definitely spending more per CPC and CPM.

Am I on the right track with Go2Mobi?

Also, I followed the guide to put tracking back to cake system, but I'm not seeing any click registered.

using Destination URL:

and postback URL:
http://pb.g2trk.com/pb/?api_key=xxxx...=#s2#&payout=0

Please let me know if I'm doing the tracking wrongly.

Assuming there is no other tracking involved, if you're looking to get conversions from F5 to show up on Go2Mobi, you will need to change the postback url at F5 to:

http://pb.g2trk.com/pb/?api_key=WHATEVERYOURAPIKEYIS&clickid={clickid}&payout={payout}

Only conversions show, however.

Depending on the geo you're targeting, $0.50 might be a very high bid. Might be worthwhile using the auto-bidder instead. Recommend that for all offers with payout over $1.

We offer a few additional settings that will severely limit your eligibility for traffic, so if you're using these features, you will definitely be seeing less traffic than you would on Decisive.

Are you using the exact same targeting & banners as you were on Decisive? As you said, it's tough to compare, but this is the first I've heard of CPCs and CPMs being higher on our platform. Make sure to check our Knowledge Center for information on ideal campaign settings at launch. If you follow these steps, you will be on the right track with Go2mobi.

For your tracking links, it's tough to determine exactly where you're going wrong wrong as I can't see your full postback URL. When everything is said and done, your postback should look like this:
http://pb.g2trk.com/pb/?api_key=YOUR...payout=#price#

Which would lead to your destination URL looking like http://f5mtrack.com/?a=xxxxx&c=xxxxx&s1={crid}&s2={clickid}

However, it looks like F5 is using CAKE...if that's the case, tokens will not be passed in the s1 slot. You can only hardcode information into the s1 variable. So I would change your {crid} to s3...so your destination URL would then be http://f5mtrack.com/?a=xxxxx&c=xxxxx&s3={crid}&s2={clickid}

It's always nice to hear from a rep.

my payout is below $1 thus, I've used standard bid instead. The guide states that I should use 2-3 times the cpa for placement budget. so $0.5 should be ok?

Go2Mobi is very flexible but at the same time more options = more things to trial and error.

I've gotten the postback portion figured out, so it all good there.
