Offer link auto download headache

Hi,

I have a problem which I can't solve.Basically my traffic source does not want to run the campaign because the offer link auto-download the app install. Apparently the traffic says it does not meet their rules.

What should I do? Should I drop the offer or do you guys know traffic sources that allow auto downloads?

Cheers.

It shouldn't really be a headache. That policy is standard operating procedure almost everywhere. Play by the rules or find a way around them..... You have a few options here:

1) Try a different traffic source and/or offer
2) Add in a landing page
3) Learn how to cloak reviewers using the Voluum redirect rules and run the campaign as-is

Or

4) tell the advertiser to give you two separate links, one autodownload and one non-auto download. That way you can drive more volume for them and non-auto download offers have better quality so they'll be eager to provide you with such a link

I've seen autodownload offers running, and most of them have a landing page that explains to the user how they're supposed to download/install the apk.

That's what I'd do.
