Hello guys,
Weird stuff happening (again) :
1) posted a batch of 18 Ads yesterday : all got approved within maybe 30 minutes
2) 10 hours later : got a notice about a 3 of the Ads (that have already been reviewed yesterday on step 1)) being approved again
3) 1 hour later : got a notice about the 3 Ads of step 2- being not approved
I kinda know why my Ads got disapproved : I used the word "Race" in my Ads... but I was using it speaking of Orcs / Hobbits / Elves... not White/Asian/Afro-Americans, etc
Of course since yesterday all my Ads now go through my Aff Link, I guess I'm lucky the network I'm using isn't black listed.
Another weird thing : as I'm duplicating Ads within Ad-Sets (Zeno's style), I still have a few Ads mentioning the "Race" angle in my pool.
I find it really odd that the reviewers are so dumb. What should I do ? It's the first time I'm getting Ads disapproved (this might explain why my Ads got approved so fast on step 1)...).
Thanks,
Cheers,
Check this post - hope it helps
No do not use characters to sneak them in at all, thats in their list of policies
that post is old news.
1) If it's a new account 18 ads is way too many!
FB will always auto review and make ads active if it passes bots rules BUT it will go into manual review.
Take it slower is my only advice, i'm not sure about the "race" part as I haven't seen your ad copy.
Thanks for the tip, well my account isn't new (I would say 8 y.o. and first Ad posted 3 years ago) and since a week I'm adding maybe 10-18 Ads every day lol
(4-5 Ad-Sets times 3 Ads duplicated in each)
I didn't know there was both a "bot" review as well as a "manual" review... so when am I supposed to change the click flow to go through my aff link if I don't know when my Ad is definitively "live" and won't go through another review ??
For these Ads it's either the "Race" angle which might be the issue, or the 20% text rule. But I really suspect the Race angle to be the problem (well actually the problem is the dumb intern reviewing Ads and not understanding my angle / humour lol
but we've all been dumb interns one day, right ?).
Unfortunately using "species" for Trolls/Elves/Hobbits/Humans isn't exactly the right term...
Side note : I didn't know reviewers worked on WE, do they also approve Ads on WE ??
There's a automatic BOT that will scan your creative and lander i assume right when you submit, you'll notice them visit the lander (bots)
If you go to manual review then you just won't see any impressions. You'll only know when you start getting impressions mate
