Traffic on Target : Amazon.com
Hey guys,
Have you ever run traffic on Amazon.com on TV? I feel like the system is sending my spikes of traffic and my server, although it's pretty well optimized, is having a hard time to manage everything. Anyone have some experience with this?

What's your server setup? How many impressions daily are you getting?

I got the 2GB VPS package at Beyond Hosting with Litespeed installed on it. As for the impressions, I didnt get much as I'm playing with the bids, but when I bidded for top 3 positions, all my conversions stopped, so it's not really the number of view, I feel the problem is how fast they come.

Yep , it's really about how fast they come.
I've had this problem in the past and used this tool to simulate high load (
http://blitz.io/ ) while Tyler was monitoring the server and tweaking it.
Give it a go and see if you can lower timeouts and response times.
