we tried a flat rate buy with exo and faced the following issues
1. we asked for mobile but was given desktop
2. we agreed on the first few impressions but instead had our ad massively spammed, at least 10-20x more than what we agreed.
at the same time some guys in our mastermind group shared that they had similar issues, traffic coming from other sites claiming its correct.
is there anyone that successfully managed to buy the traffic that's the same as what they agreed upon?
Replying to this for two reasons:
1. What does this mean? "we agreed on the first few impressions but instead had our ad massively spammed, at least 10-20x more than what we agreed."
2. I want to know the answer as well.

yeah i would like to know as well.
Exo isnt the best place to do flat buys at to be honest. First of all, they wont really give you a better price than you can get via bidding, in other words, they calculate what the spot is making right now from all buyers combined and offer you that price. No quantity discount, no long term dicscount ...
1. how much of it was desktop? If it was like 10% or so, its normal and will lways happen with them. If it was all desktop traffic instead of mobile, someone made a mistake while setting up the campaign on their end and messed up the targeting.
2. I assume you wanted to buy the first couple of impressions and use a cap, and they gave you all the impressions without any cap. With exo it works like this, if you want additional targeting, like just certain amount of impressions etc ... the price goes up even more, did you agree on that with them? In case you didnt, they probably gave you the full rotation.
I did a couple of flat buys with them but stopped doing so as I dont like their way of doing it.
