I'm using meta tag refreshes to direct link on Facebook ads. Is that a safe option? Or is tracker method (set a LP then switch to direct linking on the tracker) better?
Or is simply 301 redirecting the offer better?
PS: I'm promoting official app store app installs.

No you need to follow the best practices from Zeno or else (amongst other issues such as blacklisted Aff network domain) FB will replace your Ads title and URLs (as an example when dealing with Android Apps). The intermediate LP serves as a buffer, without this buffer FB really thinks you're promoting the official App and thus use the official developer's App Tags instead of yours.
I mentioned this problem happening to me a few days back. In fact the replacement of your Ad title but the Developer's title can occur during the Ad edition if you have the GEO localization in place too early on...
As a side note Double Meta Refresh is mostly an attempt at hiding stuff "downstream", not upstream... and the FB reviewer is upstream.

Meta Tags with Information. Set refresh to 60 seconds until traffic starts.
Information will reflect Meta Tags and then Refresh can be reduced to 2 seconds.
