My leadimpact "as simple as possible setup" doesn't convert at all... weird
Hello guys,
I still had some LI credits left so I decided to run on the simplest possible setup, and it just doesn't convert at all...
Basically the setup is a SOI offer for a store-voucher... displayed on the store URL itself...
e.g. a Home Depot voucher offer on top of Home Depot traffic...
Needless to say that if this doesn't convert, I'm wondering what would convert with this source. But with LI traffic it just doesn't convert : my LP CTR sucks completely (despite the fact that it mimics the store color-scheme) and at the end of the funnel it doesn't convert either...
Do people just don't trust popups at all anymore ?
Thanks,
Cheers,

I was about to inject funds into LI, but their minimum desposit is 1k - which scares me lol. I'm keen on hearing what STMers experience is with LI..?

Normally you can get your money back with them after you've tested the water ;-)
I've heard US traffic is shitty but EU better... right now my tests in EU aren't really conclusive A-T A-L-L

Does anyone know their traffic source now? It used to be Hotbar but it's been dead for a long long time now.

I wouldn't recommend low payout offers on LeadImpact.
My 2c.
Traffic simply isn't cheap enough to make it work, and the quality really isn't that great.

Yeah, $10-15 isn't cheap I recon... but I guess if simple offers don't convert (AT ALL) in the best possible setup I don't see how it could work with more "advanced" products.
Or maybe it's just that some niche do well and others don't.
But lets' be honest : if my "simple as possible setup" was working with LI, I wouldn't be the only one bidding on these targets... A few years back I know Stackman did make it work but maybe this kind of setup is over.

Cheers,
Do you know if the offer converts at all ?
You've gotta have a good offer before you start throwing traffic at it to determine if it'll convert well on PPV. Ask the network for EPC and volume reports if they have any. If not, it's probably not a great starting point.
PPV is a weird beast to slay.. certain offers work much better than others.. and I believe it comes down to a number of factors..
1) Typical audience - think about the type of people that generally end up with Ad-Ware.. and where that particular traffic source gets their installs from (games, certain software etc..)
2) Your website targeting also can help target a certain demographic of people
3) It's interruptive marketing, so trust is at an all time low.
4) The size of the browser window can have an effect on performance
5) Whatever you're promoting is best received via urgency to act, extremely niche appeal, or an offer that is simply to good to pass up..
6) It also has to be somewhat of a believable funnel. Here's a tip - If something is free - people assume it's too good to be true. Think of ways to overcome that.
