POF or Mobile? (7)

POF or Mobile?

Hi there,

although I'm a member here at STM for the last 4 months I just recently started diving deep into it (reading a lot, absorbing a lot)...

I still have (don't ask me from where) a POF account and I wonder, would you recommend a newbie (like me) to start with POF and the "Getting Started" series here at STM or should I go for mobile?

Thanks in advance...

Phil

I'm new here too I've heard that POF isn't accepting new affiliates at the moment. I do feel a bit disappointed

hey Wanderlust5 (sounds German, so if you are, I come from the Nuernberg area ;-)

yes, I learned that as well. However, from an earlier endavour to become rich and famous in AM I still have a valid POF account (tested it yesterday).

As you are new to AM, would you be interested to join in a Mastermind group eventually?

Hey kowisoft,

This is one of those questions with no real answer :P

There are still people making money on POF, and of course a lot making money on mobile.

I personally haven't touched my POF account in years, but it was my first AM experience. I would say that I'm grateful for what I learnt at POF - it taught me a lot about the importance of targeting, and the process of split testing and optimising. I have no idea of the current landscape of POF, but due to them closing their doors perhaps the pasture could be greener than it has been for a while...

But at the same time there are some great sources on Mobile which are perfect to learn from.
And at the same time, mobile is an ever expanding area - if you learn how to adapt, cracking mobile will surely set you up for a long time.

It's not an answer to your question, but hopefully it helps

hey Ruby,

it surely does. I would also assume that the start with smaller geos may be different between mobile and POF so I will have a first look at mobile. As the titans say: Master one traffic source before you switch to another ;-) There may be more potential on mobile for the long run... or maybe it's that I can use the learnings from mobile more...

Yes I would be! How do I go about joining one?

I'm glad

Yes there is definitely a lot more to try on mobile once you understand a type of traffic. Many many different sources to try.

I would suggest you do some good research on the forum first and come up with a good plan of attack and a sensible testing strategy
