I have installed a SSL cert one of my domains i use for tracking and i have CPV lab installed.
My question is does it matter if you setup you LP's in http or https for the pixel to fire. probably a dumb ass question but it has me confused.

ya it wont matter as long as you have a good ssl.....some are crap if its good then it will get recognized like 99% of the time....and you wont have issues.....
the cert is for certain cpa networks which needs https to fire pixel....nothing more...
I dont know if it was just my https but when using the https verision for LPs on PPV it would always shoot me a popup box asking if I really trusted this connect.
@jroes57 you either have your ssl installed wrong, or you don't have all your links using https if you are loading your lander via https then all the links (to images, css, javascript, etc) on your page need to be https also
i guess you put in the wrong common name for your cert
if you're direct linking, your tracking domain is tracking.com
the common name will be tracking.com not sub.tracking.com. If you need to change the common name, I guess repurchase is needed.
there will be no security warning shit on the browser, when everything done correctly.
