us is well regulated and you could be in trouble sending not opted in sms
Yeah I would be careful with pushing the boundaries on SMS in the US where these things are highly regulated. If you think email spam legislation is slightly worrying then the SMS spam legislation out there is utterly terrifying and you're dead wrong if you think they won't fine you out of existence for unsolicited SMS.
Even companies like AT&T are not safe.
