Passing SUB IDS in CPV LAb

Jus started using CPVLAB and confused regarding how to pass subid information

From the user guide->

Always enter Offer URLs with the subID parameter, but without a value.
For Example: http://www.offer.com/offerpage.html?SID=
Different Affiliate / CPA Networks use different SubID variables, such as SID=, TID=, SD=, etc.

Just make sure you are using the proper variable for the Affiliate / CPA Network you're
working with. Also, if you’re are working with a network or offer that does NOT support the
use of SubIDs…simply Uncheck “Pass SubID to Offer” in the Campaign Settings.
Since i use W4 and they use c1,c2 and c3 to pass info. So on prosper i just add c1=[[subid]] and subid is passed.
If i dont add anything for a hitpath platform is the subid info still passed??

thanks

cpvlab will append the subid at the end of your offer url automatically, so just make sure you have the "c1=" at the end of your offer url because that is where cpvlab will drop it

Can someone explain how subid's in this way works? c1, c2... what are these?

I use cpvlab so where would I append? Like this? http://domain.com/index.html?c1= I notice in cpvlab you can check the box "pass target" and it appends a ?target=

Thanks

@danny27 : yes you're right, you have to check "Pass SubId to Offer" so the value of the subid in the url will be passed to CPVLab
