Using Go2Mobi...what is the file size limit for gif animated banners?

Hi everyone..

Like to ask if there's a recommended size limit accepted by Go2Mobi and other mDSP.

Please advise!

I think you're referring to the dimension sizes.

I'm asking about the upload file size limit i.e. 200kb? 500kb?

We don't really have a hard cap on creative sizes (as far as I know). Keep in mind that creative size is absolutely essential on mobile, so I wouldn't recommend uploading anything larger than a couple hundred kilobytes. Any larger and you'll be sacrificing campaign performance due to long load times.

If you're coming close to the cap, be sure to use an image optimization service like Kraken.io. The image optimization in programs like Photoshop leaves quite a bit to be desired- either in terms of efficiency or resulting image quality.

Generally 40k for static ads and simple Flash executions on most DSPs.

Use ImageOptim (Open Source) for additional compression.
