Anyone familiar with clickbank?

Do any of you guys market Clickbank products?
Is Clickbank a good choice for a newbie?

My first ever affiliate revenue was made on Clickbank.

I'm unsure if I'd recommend starting off there to a newbie though - the payouts are generally a lot higher. This means is that you're going to have to spend a lot more to get any good data.

E.g. a $20 payout offer - you could spend $40 testing and not have any clue whether it's going to work or not (because there are so many variables). A 20c payout offer - you're going to have a good idea as to whether or not to carry on. It's about statistical significance and your testing budget perhaps

Good old ClickBank, also my first source of affiliate revenue! So random but one of my most profitable sites was about raising chickens/building chicken cages lol

One of my first 'big' campaigns were a clickbank product. I did $50K in a few months, hit my first $1K profit day and my first $2.5K profit day on clickbank... but I agree that low payout cpa offers are much easier to figure out when you're starting out.

Good stuff, Ruby Tunes. I'm starting off with a $1000 budget, so Clickbank probably isn't a good idea.
What about mobile marketing? Would that be a better choice to start with?

Hey Jay. I started off with Clickbank too, but using SEO to get my initial funding for AM before I moved into paid traffic & CPA offers. With a $1000 budget, which is relatively small in this space, you should focus on promoting easier-to-convert offers such as vouchers or app installs. Mobile in combination with these types of offers is a good place to start as there is a lot of cheap mobile traffic especially internationally, which will allow you to get more data and learn more about what makes an offer concert. Hope this helps!

Yep I agree with RohailRizvi - mobile is a good direction to head in, while focusing on low-payout offers. You'll get the biggest bang for your buck in terms of data and learning.

Thanks RohailRizvi. That helps a lot. I'll look more into mobile international traffic and go from there.
