Exoclick Click Discrepancies? (3)
Does anyone having Click Discrepancies with Exoclick and
I started my first mobile campaign with Exoclick two days ago and really failed to understand their system.
My campaign stats in Exoclick are:
After seeing this I said, wow my banners suck balls.
So I check with my tracker and I discovered the following:
So apparently I was getting 243 clicks on my banners and even a few conversions.
Now this is strange so I contacted Exoclick with print screens and everything and the replay I was getting was:
"Regarding the discrepancy you have seen, please be advised you should not be comparing between the clicks on an Ad and the visits to the website.
We count 1 click / Unique IP / 24hrs. Each unique click is counted against your Ad, not on the landing page display.
If a visitor clicks on your ad for example,and closes the page before it is fully displayed, Google Analytic's or other web analytic tools will not count the visitor."
Now I'm not sure because it's the first time I'm using Exoclick.
Have I done something wrong with my setup that caused it to happen or is it Exoclick bug?
Did anyone had this issue also in the past? What do you guys recommend I should do? It's hard to optimize the data like that so I'm hesitant to spend more money on the data for now.
While I was writing this another conversion came in and my stats still show only 5 banner clicks.
I also have had this on some placements on exo.
Don't worry about it and just focus on ROI.
I'm running RON, it's for all of tier placements.
They emailed me back saying they MIGHT have a bug.
