1 Month Gaming On Facebook, No Success at all. Any Pointers?

Hi Guys, so today it's about 2 weeks since i started running gaming cpa offers on facebook. i have learned alot, and gotten confident using the audience insights tool and power editor.

So far i've been running: "bleach Online" (an anime game), "Clash Of Kings Germany" (i used onehourtranslation), "Marvel Avengers Game" and "WarFrame".

in total i have made 0 Conversions and have sent more than half a thousand clicks in total (WTF)

Below i will show you the targeting i set for my Clash Of Kings campaign:

Location:
Germany

Interests:
Clash of Clans, clash lords 2, castle clash new adventure or Boom Beach

Age: 16 - 26

Gender: Male

Mobile Placement: News Feed

User Devices:
Android
Android Smartphones (all) or Android Tablets (all)
Result: 51 website clicks, no conversions.

so far i've spent 150 USD - i know it's not much and i do not plan to stop any time soon, but just a handful of conversions would be very motivating, to me.

Any and all advice is highly appreciated!

thank you!

ps: should i keep testing a campaign with such poor results? or should i just move on?

Ouch. That's tough, and something's definitely not right there. Sympathy.

First thing - can you share some of your ads and landers with us? It's likely that there's something not clicking in those, and we can't really help with that without seeing some examples.

Are all these games with the same network? If so, you might want to try a different network.

Other diagnostic questions:

- Were these direct-linked or via a lander?
- How many angles did you try? Can you give us some details on what those angles were?

Let us know, and we'll try to help out!

Bleach Online should convert with the right audience (and a reliable affiliate network), though I was under the impression they didn't want social traffic at the moment (well, last time I checked - maybe a month ago).

Clash of Clans + Boom Beach is a very broad audience, as is the 16-26 age range. However, it's suitable for something like Clash of Kings which is a itself a similarly broad appeal game.

I'd advise not starting with those bland strategy games unless you have multiple creative angles you want to test. These get heavily marketed in ways that aren't that great to performance marketers then they live off the organic traffic from store rankings.

I'm using a very reputable network, i'm more than positive that the network is not the problem here.

- Were these direct-linked or via a lander?
I'm direct linking all of my offers using a top notch cloaker.

i also armed myself with a bunch of credit cards and prepaid sim cards.

For the bleach game i have been targeting people who have liked bleach. age range: 13 - 20.

i've been hitting ctr's between 0.4% and 0.8% on all of my ads with what i would consider very good relevance to the offer.

unfortunatley i deleted all of the inactive campaigns i had in my facebook / tracking account. i had waaaaay to many. I am however inclined to give bleach online another shot. Maybe targeting anime fan and streaming sites?

though I was under the impression they didn't want social traffic at the moment
they accept social ppc now.

I know it's been awhile, but did you ever keep it going?
