Where do you hire?

If you want a media buyer, or good web guy who knows about vsls, stuff like that... where would you go?

This question is not where I can find guy from India who claims he can do it.

The question is where to find rockstar talents?

For talented people with affiliate marketing experience I would go to forums like this one.

It will be really hard to find someone good on odesk or similar sites.

For tech people, startups are a good place to look at. Most early technical employees, and technical founders have very good knowledge of modern web technologies, mobile, etc. It really depends of specifics of what you want.

A lot of direct response internet marketing companies undervalue their employees, I have firsthand experience.

There's a marketplace of experienced, talented guys who worked for these companies and since left for better opportunities.

You can do research on big online DR companies through linkedin, message people on there, and potentially get some seasoned players who've worked on million dollar ad accounts looking for better opportunities.

Some talented people for hire over at Warrior Forum. Definitely had some good success there.

you can contact "head hunters" companies over linked in.
it may cost you a bit more than getting the talent from Twitter or other forums but you will know for sure he is talented and went through several interviews before you get his CV.
