Being advertiser and affiliate at the same time| Need tracking help

Hi, I couldn't find the matching sub forum for my problem, because it's a bit complex so I decided to post it here.

Here is what I have:
I've created a product, made a website for it and send a clickbank product approval request. Without going into details, its category is health.
I found few blogs related to my products topic on which I want to advertise.

What I want to do:
I don't want to pay them let's say $100/month for my banner on their websites but just make an offer to be my affiliate. They place my banners for free and I share my comission through clickbank. But the problem is - I want to be able to test different banners etc. and track the data. I suppose it's not doable just by giving them my simple html code with images and links for wordpress sidebar.

This idea is overwhelming me and I don't know where to start or even if this whole thing is doable. By doing this I want to recruit some affilates for my product and climb on the clickbank market lists. I have gone through some lists with self-serve/non self serve Media buy networks but I'm not sure if it's even what I need in my case. I don't want the blog owners to implement some code from network that rotates also other peoples advertisements.

Could someone please give me some advice what to do in my situation?

This is by no means my forte but I think I'm right in saying what you would need is an ad server of some description. You'd simply give them the code that you get from your ad server and you can rotate banners via that.

I've never used it but something like this https://www.adbutler.com/

Yes, in this case what you would want is an ad server.

The end result is that you could ask a publisher to place your ad server code if they want to serve your ads and potentially earn commissions. This will only work if the publisher is willing to give you an exclusive spot and let you control the inventory, which is a bit risky to them as you could potentially server any ad and rip them off by only paying them for commissions on the one specific product.

Usually you would buy placements directly to do your own testing then let affiliates do their own testing too. If your campaign converts, then a good affiliate will do the testing legwork for you.

Thanks guys for your response. Adbutler is exacly what I've been looking for.

Concerning the risk you mentioned zeno, Adbutler allows you to create separate accounts for publishers who can login to their mini admin panel (through an ID link I provide them,no need to create separete adB account for them). They can see there ads I place on their websites, approve/deny/preview them, check basic statistics, reports etc. so there is no chance about ripping off.

Thank you once again jonemd
