I fucking hate these guys

I think that the site owners need to make a plugin or something that block visitors who browse with ad block .
What do you think it is going to decrease the mobile traffic/increase the bid prices?
Oh finally I'll stop those annoying ads!
Thank you!
dont worry the people who fall for our shady scaming mobile offers are not the ones who usually install adblocker
the majority of my mobile traffic comes from in app display. I'm not too worried about this.
Would be funny if they went to affiliates to try to promote their browser.
Don't forget that mobile apps won't have this issue.
So if anything happens you will see a more increase in mobile traffic for in app ads
@lior_o_o, there is a way to bypass adblock or force people to watch what you want them to watch on your site (at least phpbb, so probably adoptable to everything), also stopping people who use adblocker from entering the site or see/use the content.
Yeah you can detect the plugin and give them a notice to the effect.
It seems that they already charge a lot of money from big companies to whitelist their ads. I'm really curious if Google will allow it on Gplay. I'm sure they will find something in their TOS to reject it.
As for sites using pops they will probably ask users to use another mobile browser if they will become so popular to affect their earnings.
I'd love the irony to promote their browser on pops lol. We'll probably need cloaking since the ad networks will probably not allow them.
Joking aside, their business model is very ingenious. It's like adware, but instead of making money by pushing new ads to the users they sabotage the ad companies and make money from the ads that were already there, all coated in good guys.
AdBlock's great. I use it. And NoScript.
I turn it off when I want to see ads, because otherwise I'm not interested in being interrupted or having my page load time increased, and disabling advertising in my browser is my prerogative.
There will always be people to advertise too, and I'm all for web-savvy technologies that will help stop my mum getting her browser riddled with toolbars.
