Will a wrong postback URL effect conversion?

I ran a campaign yesterday, in the post back url on my affilate network, i forgot to put "{" after sub5, would this effect my conversion? I did not get any conversion, so that is why I am asking. I see the click being populated in my affiliate network just no sure if conversion are.

The link triggers the converion. So, incorrect link = no conversion. Fix it.

No it shouldn’t effect your conversion rate. The leads/sales should still show up in the affiliate network regardless of what postback url or format you use. It would only effect the leads/sales being posted to the campaign tracker you are using (e.g. Voluum).

I second what magnate said. SubIDs are just extra strings for tracking purposes. As long as the "main" or "default" part of your aff link is intact (e.g. the part that contains your aff ID and the offer ID), conversions would still be registered, so you don't need to discount that data.

Correct.

As long as the link you get from your network is ok (your tracking link), the conversions should be recorded within the affiliate network. The postback isnt for the network, its for your own tracking of the data.
