Quick Tip to Spying on Facebook Ads without spy tools

Assuming you have a facebook account with the target demographic you are aiming for :

Do some keyword searches on your niche on google. Click on as many ads/advertisers as you'd like. Go to the order form for each advertiser and add 1 item to cart and go to their checkout screen. Once you log back to facebook, you should be seeing some retargeting ads from several different advertisers.

Also if you start liking pages that are related to your niche you'll start seeing ads from your competitors

did facebook also using cookie for ads ?

Facebook has retargeting through custom audiences and their conversion tracking - this has been the case for a very long time. There is also the FBX for real-time retargeting though there are differences here.

It's the site owners themselves who are using FB tracking codes to drop cookies and retarget you on Facebook.
