Mobile Mastermind - Newbies with diverse skills (6)
Hi guys,
I'm quite new here, been on the forums and started going at it for just over a week. A brief introduction: I used to play poker, then started my own business with some partners and went into AM when looking for new opportunities at a recommendation of an old poker friend. There are quite a few similarities between AM and poker, one of which is that a small group of people focused on getting good at it will do a much better job than someone alone. This is the reason I want to start a mastermind that has a diverse set of skills, so we can all help each other.
Coming from poker, I have a very good mindset and understand the swings that happen in a business like AM. I also understand why it's important to treat even a one person show as a very professional business, and how to create that image to the outside (in this case affiliate networks). I have a very analytical approach to making decisions, which can only help when dealing with so many numbers and unknowns like in AM. Basically, what I can bring to the table are skills relating to psychology and analytical thinking.
Other skills commonly needed in AM seem to be programming/technical, data analysis, creativity, and design. While everyone can learn those on their own, I believe a group whose members complement each other will be much more effective and efficient.
I think a group of 4-5, myself included, is enough. Bigger groups tend to get inactive very quickly.
Requirements:
1. Willing to take action. You have a budget to spend on tests and required tools.
2. In it for the long run. There won't be any overnight success. We will have to grind it out for months!
3. Available for Skype sessions, at least once per week.
4. Good English. Good communication is a must, and English is the language we will use
