I've read a lot of information about PPV, but I read so many conflicting ideas I just don't know what to believe. Some people say it's a numbers game and you just have to keep launching campaigns to see what sticks and others advise to stick with one niche until you're successful.
What defines a campaign? One offer with many angles or are each of the angles a separate campaign?
So lets say I wanted to promote a dating offer and some of the angles would be:
Do You Like Tall Men?
Do Love Big Women?
Want To Date a Golfer?
Wish You Could Date Someone Quickly?
Looking For a Strong Man?
Would each of these 5 angles be considered a separate campaign?
I know your problem because it can be overwhelming reading so many different things, trust me, I know. Honestly, my advice would be that you stop reading to many threads and write down on paper the plan you want to follow. Remember, either path you choose will still end up with LOTS of needed testing.
The name of the game is DATA and lots lf it, period. You can read a thousand success stories by others but just because it worked for them does not mean it will for you. If I were you I'd setup LOADS of campaigns using different offers on just a few verticals and build the data up.
One thing with PPV is to try and keep your LPs simple, I sometimes use BOA (box of ads) to spy on the targets and LPs that show the most traction. Don't rip landers though because its pointless spamming people with something they have likely been spammed with already. Angles are worth researching and dig deep into the mindset of the people your targeting. I was using PPV a while back but my eyes on mobile right now.
Thank you for your response EpicTrends, I'm curious, why have you moved away from PPV?
