I'm currently using content advertising (similar to Taboola) which is sending traffic to a simple lander on a wordpress setup (I know... I know!) and then on to a clickbank product.
However, my content network offers tracking macros which supposedly will let allow me to block bad performing placements.
My question is, how would you go about setting this up? How will I know if the traffic to my landing page is good/bad without being able to put a tracking pixel on the end sale (Clickbank only offer TID).
It would be good to know which ad placements are resulting in at least a click through to the clickbank product from my lander. The ad traffic that are just landing without going further or interacting need to be blocked.
Any advice hugely appreciated and apologies if this has not been answered a thousand times before!

I looked around and stumbled across that for you.
You could upload subids into your tracker and check conversions for the placements, which you are passing on the tokens.
Thanks for the replys.
BBrock, yep this makes sense to me, however because I'm using a lander I don't know how this would work.
For anyone else who finds this thread and is wondering the same thing, theres a good tutorial here which works with direct linking from your ad network using ClickMagick tracker - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D3B8KJsCq0
Bah, still banging my head on this one! Sent off tickets to ClickMagick and
I actually thought this would be really simple, I'm sure I'm missing something totally obvious here...
