alright, so I did everything as per The Appetiser guide "Starting the cook", now I have a couple questions as I move forward..
1. So far this is what my campaign looks like

I'm not sure what everything means right now, lot of data here, what is the significance of my CPM, CPC, Wins, Bids, and Clicks? Is it going good so far or is it too little data right now?
2. What point do I need
3. Do I really need to wait until $15 spend like the guide says or how is it that i can know it's a sure LOSER of a campaign.
4. How do I know if everything on the backend is good? Like what if they aren't converting because there's something wrong that i did and I just wouldn't know, either the link is fuked up on my ad network or in decisive. I did everything in the mobile cookbook. My links are copy pasted from them with my campaign name in it.
Good work! It can all be a little overwhelming to start with but it’s actually easy once you get the hang of it
1. Bids = how many user’s eyes you’ve bid on to show them your ad. Wins is the amount of users you’ve successfully bid on that have been actually shown your ad. From this you can see how much potential traffic there is, and whether you could get more if you up your bid (resulting in a rise in CPM - your cost per thousand people that see your ad). Clicks is obviously the amount of people that have clicked on your ad (therefore your CTR for that campaign).
Essentially you want to win as much traffic as possible, for the lowest price, with as many people clicking through as possible.
A few cents spend is faaaaar too little data to be able to come to any conclusions unfortunately.
Also, the REAL stats are found under the live stats which tell you which placements/banners etc are performing the best.
2.
3. There are many variables to take into account when starting a new campaign so yes you need to spend a reasonable amount in order to test these fairly.
4. You can check the stats on your network - there have been people that have clicked on your ad that will have been taken to the offer. Your stats on your network will show that visitors have been taken to the offer, if you can see this then you will at least know you will be paid for any conversions. If you have a conversion on your network but this has not shown up on Decisive, then you know it’s not tracking properly on Decisive, in which case you’ll need to take action.
Hope that’s helpful - let me know if any of it didn’t make sense!
Everything makes sense.
Related to #4..
I just got suspended from decisive due to misleading content on the landing page. I didn't even make a landing page but apparently there was some redirect somewhere, I'm so pissed off right now. I'm not sure what to do. I literally just made banners, linked the ad from my ad network (clickdealer) and now I have to deal with this crap?!
I can't even log in to my account now and I have $500 in there. Any advice? How do I avoid this in the future??
Oooosh that’s not fun! Never heard of this before.
You should definitely contact them in person and let them know the situation, I’m sure they can review it for you.
They have an account on here if you want to PM them - http://stmforum.com/forum/member.php...ndrea-Decisive
Hi Randomman,
We don't suspend people for misleading content. Please do contact us if you are having trouble logging in. support@decisive.is is a good place to start.
