How to pass the keyword from adwords to voluum ?
Hi guys,
still I'm a new comer and really excited on affiliate marketing.
by the way, i've already search the entire forum and still haven't found the way to pass user's search to my Voluum. Do u guys know how to pass the user's search from google
e.g
When user search 'bubble"
google save it as a value in their query. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=bubble
how can i pass it to my Voluum, so i can see that query on the variables menu ? I have try the {keyword} token but still it only appears as {keyword} on my voluum.
any suggestion will be greatly aprreciate.
Thanks !

If you're running search network and keyword targeting, this should be correct as far as I know (it works for me). Do you have it set up correctly under traffic sources in Voluum? Should be something like:
Parameter: kw
Placeholder: {keyword}
Name: Keyword
Track: Checked
Your Voluum tracking URL which you'll use as your destination URL should then include &kw={keyword} and you're all set.

I'm 99.7% sure the token for keyword in Adwords is {keyword}, so if you are using this in your advertising URL it should pass through just fine.
If it isn't working, you can be 100% sure it is not Google's fault.
Check your live clicks section in Voluum and note the link URLs and referrers to see if you can spot the issue.

Those show clicks through your lander. I think you need to show live visits.

Sorry for the belated reply. For that you really need to turn off the other columns and show the full URL, otherwise it doesn’t show anything useful. What you want to look for is what data is being passed in the URL for your keyword. E.g. is it showing …&keyword=something or is it showing something like …&keyword={keyword}
