Clash of Clans: 2 Million Downloads in 2 Days!

Clash of Clans has now over 100 million players.

While this number is really impressive, another number is even more impressive: it crossed the 100 Million mark at record speed. Clash of Clans added over 2 million new players in only 2 days. 2 days!!

I don't know where Facebook get that number from but it seems to change (and fluctuate) daily. Even Google Play just give estimated downloads. App Annie has more realistic download figures but that sounds pretty crazy for a game that's been around for that long.

I don't think it sounds that crazy at all considering they advertises on the Super Bowl with actor Liam Neeson.
In fact, with the rumored prices of a Super Bowl ad, I'd expect those numbers. I;d call that "scaling like a boss"

They are advertising daily on prime time Dutch TV too.

The privately held Finnish developer revealed the results of its fiscal 2014 today, and the company saw mammoth growth in its revenues and earnings. Hits like Clash of Clans, Hay Day, and Boom Beach helped the company generate revenue of $1.7 billion (€1.55 billion) last year. That’s up from what was effectively $570 million (€515 million) in 2013 (although the Euro was worth more in 2013, so that €515 million was worth closer to $850 million at the time). In terms of earnings, the company pocketed $565 million. That’s up big from $267 million in 2013.
after those numbers i don't think paying $9 million for airing at Superbowl is a big problem

COC is an addictive freaking game and i admit i`m an Clash Of Clans Addict! so the advertising is definitely is paying for itself.
