Noob question, what would you do if starting over

Hi I just signed up a few days ago and starting to dive into the fourm. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice or thoughts on what you would change if you were starting over. I am starting to dive though the fourm and wondering what the best way to find offers are. Is there a main affiliate network that most people use to find these offers? Would you recommend using the case studies offers and maybe change it alittle. If the case studies offers say they are making $x,xxx a day but it was posted a few months ago or maybe a few weeks is that to long to bother from what I have been reading campaigns seem to have a life expectancy. Thanks again for any advice much appreciated.

I still consider myself a noob when it comes to AM. That said:

What I would change starting over:
- take action quicker instead of reading your way into analysis-paralysis. Just start with the mobile cookbook and do something.
- spend more on campaigns instead of pausing/stopping them after 1 day. Learn asap to become comfortable with negative/red ROI.

How to select offers:
- talk to your AMs
- look at network volume reports
- spy (on placements - not on the forum)

Is there a main affiliate network?
> No, sign up with multiple networks.

The case studies should be used to identify exportable insights into your campaigns, not to cut, copy and paste.
