Facebook Bleed - Disappearing Clicks

Hey guys,

I was wondering if other people are experiencing the same kind of bleed as I am on Facebook. I'm running nutra in SEA and losing WAY TOO MANY CLICKS going from Facebook to my lander. I have a cloaker and lose clicks going from FB to the cloaker, then lose more going from the cloaker to the lander. Overall, about a quarter to a third of my Facebook clicks are dropped by the time they arrive to the advertorial. Attached is the funnel numbers for one account in HK. I've tried going no-cloak as well, but still lose a good chunk of clicks (but no-cloaks have a significantly shorter lifespan).

I've delved deeper into the numbers and Androids have the largest dropoffs (losing anywhere from 35%~50%) so I'm avoiding those where possible, or bidding super low for them.

Are other people running Facebook having similar issues? I'm still profitable for the most part, but if I can get this bleed down to like 10% it'll make a significant difference.

Thanks!

Sometimes FB will put up a warning in front of your landing page, something like "this page might be dangerous to visit". So what happens is that:

1. user clicks on the ad. FB counts this as a click.
2. warning shows up before your tracking link is loaded. most users click 'back', some continue.

Had this happen to me, may or may not be what is happening here.

Oh wow I did not know that - have never seen that myself.

Would every user get prompted with this if a page got this black mark? I want to say no since if everyone was getting shown that prompt then I'm sure the first dropoff would be greater than 7%...more like 80% lol

check the ssl certificates of any pages that are https. Androids will block pages with a certain certificate issue that does not affect other devices.
