Hey guys, I'm about to start putting together my first banners for my first mobile campaigns. I am a decent writer but I totally suck at graphic design.
Ideally, I am looking for a source for dozens or hundreds or even thousands of mobile banner templates that I could easily modify. Does any such source exist, even paid ones?
What I found so far:

I know it’s not the answer that you want to hear but I’d recommend getting to know photoshop. It may seem like a beast to conquer but it’s not actually that tricky to learn the basics.
From there it’s so easy to rip banners that you like from anywhere and modify them as you want.
Yup. Pretty much figured as much. Just have to roll up my sleeves and tackle Photoshop.
I really think it’s worth it. Not too hard to get a handle on, and I actually find it quite fun.
Grab a couple of tutorials when you start learning. Photoshop looks intimidating to start with, but once you've got the basics down you'll pick up the rest fast.
I'd recommend learning about layers, image adjustment (levels, vibrance and saturation), transforms, gradients and the various selection tools to start with. That's enough to get 90% of your banner work done.
You need to learn enough to at least edit PSD templates that workers will make for you. The problem is, you don't know photoshop, you won't know what to ask for and the worker will probably make a bloated 300kb 320x50 banner. If I were you I would order from http://bannerslanders.com/ as they are already used to affiliate stuff and you won't have to train someone from scratch with your limited PS knowlege. They did a really good job for me recently.
On top of that, I would take a Photoshop course on Lynda.com....take any course by Deke McClelland...He is the man!!
Once you have a very basic grip on Photoshop, then these are really quite good and very reasonably priced: http://graphicriver.net/tags/web%20advertising
