Facebook Doesn't Accept Amex?

Has anyone been unable to add American Express cards to their ad accounts? For whatever reason, that option is no longer available for me across any accounts that I am running ads on. Is it perhaps the card account was blocked as a whole?

I use amex all the time. What country are you in, and what happens when you try to ad.

Hi. One of the most accepted card is AMEX only. You can even get employee cards for it. So, something is wrong with your strategy instead of card.

Interesting, I just logged on to one of my acct and the amex logo is not there. I am assuming it used to be there. Didn't try to add an amex, so not sure if still works.

Check the source code of the page. Looks like the amex image didn't load in one of them.

Maybe a subtle hint? Facebook is always testing stuff.

thanks for the response guys. It appears as though I'm not the only one having this issue. Looks like Facebook has removed Amex icon from some accounts.

Yes they have for some accounts. For those accounts, you can still pay via Paypal linked to an Amex card if you want to still get your Tim Tetra airmiles. I believe this is a tech issue from FB.

Sounds like there was an internal error at FB with AMEX (at least according to a couple reps thus far). It's affecting A LOT of people right now. All I hear is 'they are trying to fix it'. So rest assured it isn't just you.

No Amex in european accts, or at least this was the case last year. Referring to an account created in NL (I think).

The same thing happened last year but they fixed it within days.

appears the issue been fixed, try re-entering the same card again. I just entered an amex and it worked.

had an issue with them processing my AMEX today. After re-entering the info they were able to process my payments. I think it was an issue with them internally.
