I am about 6 months into my AM career, have run/am running a couple campaigns and am still trying to unlock my first profitable campaign. When I played basketball, eventually I hit the point where I realized how to practice smarter, be more efficient with my time and focus on the things that would give me the greatest return on my efforts. I wanted to ask anybody that has achieved that success point in AM - How do you spend your time becoming better at AM???
I have a flexible job and have between 7-10 hours/day I can spend on AM...but honestly don't know how to spend it to improve myself! Most people on here advise newbies to devote themselves to one vertical and one traffic source and master it which limits the amount of information to absorb.
I realize this might seem like a dumb question and I might get slammed for asking...but I also realize that this forum is full of incredibly smart, successful people who have overcome the same obstacles I am facing and that it was created for the purpose of helping each other.
So for that reason I ask...How do you spend your time becoming better at AM???
Just going from what you've said, I'd strongly advise you to do one thing with your time: launch more campaigns. Don't half-arse them - do your research, code landers properly, etc - but launching is your highest-value activity.
Check out this thread from Stackman: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...obile-Campaign . He explains how he launched a big push on mobile, in which he launched 50+ campaigns inside a week.
AM is a numbers game. The biggest thing you can do to boost your chances of success in the game is launch more.
One caveat: make sure you're exploring the problem space properly with each launch. Don't stick to one offer for 50 campaigns, or launch 50 very similar angles, or even 50 very similar landers. Learn from what works and what doesn't, spend some time analysing failures, and make sure you're testing new things with each launch.
Hope that helps!
