Anyone doing their own supplements successfully? I really want to get into this space and would love some insight.

Yes, in the past. We did Muscle and P/E. Hardest part of the game was Merchant Accounts.
You'll need:
1. Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) - Try konnektive.com (haven't tried) or Limelight (don't recommend)
2. Whitelabeler - we used privatelabelnutra.com (there are lots of providers to chose from)
3. Dropshipper - planetfulfillment.com (there are lots to choose from)
4. Customer Support with 1800 number - (requirement for MIDs) we used performtel.com (do recommend)
5. Merchant Accounts / Merchant IDs (MIDs) - you'll need at least 5 of them. Are you based in the USA? If not, good luck getting a decent rate or a MID at all 
Then you can run the campaign yourself or push the offer to networks - just be warned, some Affs will rape your chargeback % and get your MIDs shut down. Hence the need for 5 of them.
