Basic Questions About Mobile Marketing? (5)

I am going through the forum since I've joined and collected some questions/issues so far. I will be thankful if anyone of you can answer me that with your experience. 
Ques 1: Caurmen's The Mobile Cookbook: The Appetiser
In that he says, track via. Decisive's Tracking. Well, I tried to install my CPVLab myself in-between F5 and Decisive but I am not getting it. Though, I have already installed my CPVLab with Adult Traffic (in-past) but finding bit difficult for the decisive here. Can anyone tell me how to do so?
Ques 2: Niche/Vertical Selection
I have read some posts & talked to some really nice mobile marketers on Skype (members of STM). But I am bit confused if I should start with App-Install or Sweeps/Promo?
Ques 3: Ad Network Selection
Based on the above answer, can you tell me which ad network is suitable for that niche? That would boost my start!
Ques 4: iAmAttila's Ultimate Spying Guide for Mobile
Here he says, download the apps and surf around. I did yesterday night with different IPs (I have HMA VPN Pro), Mobile: HTC One M8. I Installed many top free apps/games but all I can see is the Google Ads. There were nothing for Sweeps/App Install. All ads I saw were for fashion, Big App Install (Developer's Ad) etc.
So what's wrong here?
Ques 5: Best Spy Tool
Which spy tool (paid) do you suggest to have to get some ideas about the angles? I just don't want to buy all at once or one after one and end-up having zero as my budget. So I want to know which is best/better and I would try to arrange it.
I'm trying to collect information and educate myself as much as possible before I hit the floor (after basic info).

They both work mate! Pick one. In terms of traffic sources you can use any mainstream mobile source since these offers are extremely broad appealing.

Whatrunswhere is more than fine for starters.
Try some more placements and different geo's.
For example go to a site like this, on a mobile device: http://mp4mobilemovies.net/
This is just one example and you'll probably get to see pretty aggressive stuff. So don't let that put you off.
Also, the banners on google are sometimes not what they seem.
If you click on them they might lead you to some totally different offer.
Doesn't mean you need to resort to the same tactics though.
